Budget Committee

The Budget Committee is responsible for preparing and presenting the Local’s annual budget for review by the membership. The budget must be completed and presented by the last membership meeting of the Local’s fiscal year, which ends on September 30.

In years when Local elections are held, the newly elected Local President has the option to submit an amended budget to the Budget Committee. This allows the incoming leadership to align the budget with their priorities and goals for the upcoming term.

Any amended budget prepared under a new administration will be reviewed by the Budget Committee and presented to the membership for consideration at the January meeting, ensuring transparency and member oversight in the budgeting process.
