The Equity Committee works to support and protect the rights of all members of CWA Local 9588 by addressing issues that fall outside of negotiated labor agreements. The committee serves as a resource for members experiencing concerns related to fairness, discrimination, or unequal treatment in the workplace or within the union.

By listening to member concerns and advocating for equitable solutions, the committee helps ensure that all members are treated with dignity and respect. It promotes inclusion, equal opportunity, and accountability while working collaboratively with union leadership when appropriate.

Through education, advocacy, and member support, the Equity Committee plays an important role in fostering a fair, inclusive, and supportive environment for everyone in Local 9588.
